Metal Plastic Soft is a two-component polyester putty based on unsaturated polyester resins, specially formulated for smooth and efficient surface repairs. It is easy to apply, fast curing, easy to grind, and provides lasting adhesion while allowing quick post-processing such as sanding and finishing. The product is suitable for repairing metal and polyester surfaces, including the filling of scratches, tears, cracks, and dents in metal plates and automotive bodywork.

Suitable for:
– Filling scratches, tears, and dents in metal plates.
– Repairing damaged metal and polyester surfaces.
– Repairing scratches, cracks, and dents on automotive bodywork and vehicle surfaces.
Substrates
– The surface must be rigid, clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and other contaminants.
– Remove rust before application.
– Roughen smooth surfaces by grinding to improve adhesion.
– Suitable for use on metals, polyester, and other compatible substrates.
– Not suitable for zinc-coated or galvanized metal surfaces due to insufficient adhesion.
– For zinc-coated or galvanized metal plates, use Metal Plastic Universal.
– A preliminary adhesion and compatibility test is recommended on all surfaces before application.
Application Method
– Mix 2% of the B-component (hardener) with the A-component.
– Mix thoroughly until a homogeneous mixture is achieved.
– Do not mix more material than can be applied within 5 minutes.
– Apply the mixed product in a thin layer using a spatula.
– Apply additional layers if required.
– Allow the putty to cure for 20–30 minutes (depending on temperature) before sanding.
– After curing, continue with further repair processes such as sanding, painting, or finishing.
Cleaning Method
– Clean tools and equipment with acetone after use.
Repair Method
– Repair using the same material.
