Application and Limitations – Thompson’s uPVC Restorer 480 ml:
Thompson’s uPVC Restorer 480ml is designed to restore the colour and appearance of faded, weathered uPVC surfaces such as window frames, doors, fascias and conservatories. The product is typically applied by first cleaning the surface to remove dirt and grease, then applying a small amount of the restorer onto a clean cloth or applicator pad and rubbing it evenly onto the uPVC until the surface regains its colour and sheen; excess product should be wiped off with a dry cloth and the area allowed to dry. It is intended for exterior and interior uPVC surfaces that have become dull due to weathering. However, it has limitations: it should not be used on glass, painted surfaces, metal, rubber, or flooring where it may cause slipping, and it will not repair deep scratches, structural damage, or severe discoloration that has permanently altered the material. The product should be applied in dry conditions and not during rain or extreme temperatures, and users should always test it on a small inconspicuous area first to ensure compatibility.
