Provides long term weather resistant joints around fenestration and wall transitions. Suitable for use on most common building surfaces such as aluminium, uPVC, glass, glazed ceramics or (lacquered) wood, even without a primer. Sealant may also be applied to lightly moist (not saturated) surfaces. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
PREPERATION
Ensure all surfaces are clean, grease free and cleared of any other contaminants that may affect adhesion. Surfaces can be moist, but not overly saturated.
APPLICATION
Apply using a standard application gun in a continuous bead and leave to fully cure. Smooth the joint with the desired tool and a soapy solution. Remove any excess and clean all tools immediately to avoid any damage. Replace the plastic cap after use.
LIMITATIONS
- Cannot be applied to saturated surfaces. A suitable primer must be used when using on bitumen-based substrates or natural stone.
- Prestressed PMMA and Polycarbonate (PC) may result in stress cracking. For these surfaces, we recommend carrying out a surface test.
- Not recommended for use as a glazing sealant for bedding in glass. For this area of application, we would recommend LN7.
- Not suitable for use on aquariums.
- Not recommended for use on surfaces that bleed oils or plasticisers, or for use with natural stone. Discolouration may occur under extreme conditions and long exposure to UV light.
- Can be over-painted with water-based paints or varnish. Always test compatibility before use.
