Mapei UltraCare Grout Release is a water-based product for the pre-grouting protection of porous materials (suitable for cementitious grouts only). This product works as a stain protector suitable for use on polished porcelain tiles to prevent grout ingress/staining and for other porous natural stone materials. It can also be used as a pre grouting treatment when installing heavily textured/anti slip porcelain to make the cleaning after installation easier.

Mapei UltraCare Grout Protector is a stain-resistant protector specifically formulated for joints sealed with cementitious grouts and for polished porcelain tiles.
When applied on the grouted surface, UltraCare Grout Protector gives a durable and periodically renewable (according to use and exposure) stain-resistant protection, both to the polished porcelain tiles and the cementitious grouts (CG class according to EN 13888). The product does not alter appearance, colour or shine of the surface and does not create a film over it. It is a quick-drying treatment.
