The ARDEX ARDITEX CL PLUS Latex Levelling and Smoothing Compound (4.85kg) is a two-part system designed for preparing and levelling a wide range of internal subfloors, including concrete, cement/sand screeds, and gypsum (anhydrite) surfaces, prior to the installation of floor coverings such as vinyl, carpet, or tiles. It offers excellent flow and application properties, enabling smooth, even surfaces and allowing light foot traffic in as little as 2 hours, with most floor coverings installable after approximately 12 hours. Its applications include new build and refurbishment projects where a reliable, fast-drying smoothing layer is required, and it is also suitable for use over underfloor heating systems. However, limitations include its restriction to internal use only, the requirement for proper substrate preparation and priming before application, and the need to mix it with the corresponding powder component as part of a two-part system. Additionally, it may not be suitable for external environments or heavily contaminated or structurally unsound substrates without prior treatment.
