This rapid-setting, rapid-hardening, and highly flexible cementitious tile grout is ideal for walls and floors, offering superior water and frost resistance along with built-in Microban® antimicrobial protection to prevent mold and mildew growth. It sets in just 2–3 hours, enabling faster project completion while maintaining a clean, even finish. The efflorescence-free formulation reduces the risk of patchy discoloration, and the built-in admixture enhances flexibility and durability. Environmentally conscious and user-friendly, it produces low dust, contains over 25% recycled content, meets Emicode EC1 Plus standards for very low emissions, and has a long 24-month shelf life in both 2.5 kg and 5 kg bags.

This grout is suitable for porcelain, glazed and fully vitrified tiles, glass and ceramic mosaics, marble, and natural stone in both dry and wet interior and exterior environments, including swimming pools. It can be used for joint widths from 1 mm to 30 mm, following BS Standards (minimum 2 mm for walls and 3 mm for floors, with adjustments based on tile size and environment). It is also recommended for use in power showers, wet rooms, heated floors, and overlaid timber floors. For detailed guidance, contact the BAL Technical Advisory and Specification Service.

Surface Preparation
General
Before grouting, ensure the following:
Tile adhesive has fully set, as per the adhesive packaging or BAL Technical Data Sheet.
Open joints are clean, dry, free of debris, and protected from contamination.
Use a consistent amount of clean, cold water for each mix, especially for larger areas.
Installation lighting should closely match the final permanent lighting to accurately assess grout colour.
Check colour consistency when using the grout across different tile types (e.g., porous tiles vs. porcelain or denser stone).
Important Notes
Do not use in temperatures below 5°C or in damp conditions.
For porous tiles at temperatures above 25°C, dampen joints with clean water before grouting.
