Drive Alive Decking Cleaner is a specially formulated cleaner that restores weathered hardwood and softwood decking by removing dirt and organic deposits, bringing the wood back to its natural appearance. It acts fast and should be used before applying stains or oils to ensure a strong bond and long-lasting finish. For best results, apply directly to the surface, scrub with a stiff brush, and leave for 15-20 minutes before thoroughly rinsing with a pressure washer or hose. Proper cleaning ensures optimal coating performance.

Drive Alive Decking Cleaner effectively removes dirt and natural deposits from decking, restoring its original appearance. Ideal for use before applying stains and oils, ensuring better adhesion and a long-lasting finish.
Preparation: Always test on a small, hidden area first to ensure the desired result. Remove debris, moss, mould, and algae using a stiff brush.
Application:
- Pour the decking cleaner directly onto the surface.
- Scrub immediately with a stiff brush, then leave for 15-20 minutes.
- For best results, wash thoroughly with a pressure washer, working from one end of the decking to the other in a continuous motion. Alternatively, scrub with a stiff brush and rinse with a hose. Ensure all cleaning residues are completely washed away to ensure optimal performance of subsequent coatings.
Note: This cleaner is not suitable for composite decking—use Patio Blaster instead.
Clean-Up: The surface may become slippery during cleaning. If the cleaner contacts plants or grass, rinse thoroughly with water. Do not allow undiluted product to enter drains or watercourses.
