Bond It Gripbond Pro is a high quality, one part, HM sealing and bonding material, established on advanced hybrid polymer technology. A neutral “hybrid” sealant for use in areas demanding a tough elastic rubber joint or as an adhesive with strong bonding properties.

Bond It Gripbond Pro can be used:
– For filling and sealing joints, cracks, holes, etc.
– For bonding metal to metal (can absorb vibration).
– As a universal waterproof construction adhesive for bonding concrete, mirrors (note: not suitable for plastic-backed/safety mirrors), gypsum board, polycarbonates, polystyrene, PVC, many plastics, ceramics, copper, lead, zinc, aluminium, stainless steel, wood and glass.
We recommend that test areas be carried out prior to application to ensure compatibility of materials.
APPLICATION
Preparation
Make sure all surfaces are clean and grease free from other contaminants.
Application
Cut the top of the cartridge, screw on the nozzle supplied and cut at an angle approximately 45o. Apply using a standard sealant gun. When using as an adhesive, apply in beads or strips to bond the surfaces together carefully, and cure.
When using as a sealant, apply in a continuous bead and leave to fully cure. Smooth the joint and remove any excess material. Clean all tools immediately with white spirit. Replace cap afterwards.
LIMITATIONS
This product is not recommended for expansion joints or
installations where joints are immersed in water. Note: the product may yellow if curing in dark conditions. Not for use in aquariums.
Not suitable for LSE plastics such as PTFE, PP & PE. Can cause staining on marble and other stone surfaces. Using a sealer prior to application can prevent this from happening.
Do not use for double glazed units or on surfaces that bleed oils or plasticisers. When painting, always test compatibility before use, but we only recommend use of water based paints with this product. Any mirror with 6mm glass or thicker, greater than 1m squared, or on a sloping wall or ceiling, must have mechanical fixings.
