This high-strength cement waterproofer is ideal for both internal and external applications, including rendering, roof screeds, swimming pools, tanks, retaining walls, basement walls, and reservoirs. It improves the workability and plasticity of concrete and mortar in their wet state, resisting water penetration even under pressure. The product reacts with free lime in the mortar to form hydrophobic crystals, which block the pores and enhance water resistance. For best results, it should be added to the gauging water with minimal water in the mix and a properly balanced cement and sand aggregate ratio, ensuring the mortar is well compacted for a dense, homogeneous body.

Designed to help mortars and renders resist both external and internal water pressures, this product is ideal for use on renderings, retaining walls, tanks, swimming pools, roof screeds, reservoirs, basement walls, and any application where water penetration is a concern.
Application
Shake well before use. Add 0.25 – 0.5 litres of Bond It INTEGRAL WATER RESISTANT PLASTICISER to each 25kg bag of cement, incorporating it into the gauging water. Reduce the total volume of gauging water to achieve the desired consistency. Use the appropriate sand/cement ratio for a dense, high-quality mortar. Ensure the mortar is firmly compacted, and avoid over-mixing to prevent air entrainment.
Limitations
This product is not a vapour-proofing solution; a separate vapour-proof membrane is needed for vapour-proof applications. Avoid overmixing the mortar or concrete to prevent excessive air entrainment, which can lead to a loss of strength. Do not use at temperatures below +2°C or when temperatures are expected to drop below 0°C within 24 hours.
