WD120 is a premium, weatherproof PVA adhesive developed for high-performance bonding in furniture manufacture and general woodworking. Suitable for both internal and external use, it provides excellent water resistance and is ideal for bonding wood, decorative laminates, chipboard, blockboard, veneers, and similar materials. WD120 delivers rapid bond formation with high final strength and is suitable for a wide range of application and curing methods, including load-bearing uses.

Suitable for:
– Interior and exterior applications
– PVA wood adhesive for bonding wood, decorative laminates, chipboard, blockboard, veneers, and similar substrates
– Performs well in high-humidity indoor environments
– Indoor or outdoor use where intermittent contact with cold or hot water may occur
– Commonly used in furniture manufacture and staircase installation
Preparation
• Ensure all bonding surfaces are close fitting, clean, degreased, and free from dust or any other contaminants.
Application
• Remove any skin from the adhesive surface and stir thoroughly before use.
• Apply adhesive to one surface only using a brush or roller.
• Allow an open time of approximately 5 minutes, depending on ambient conditions.
• Assemble components within the open time, as soon as practical.
• Apply pressure immediately after assembly while the adhesive is still wet.
• Recommended press time is 14–20 minutes at 20 °C.
• When using a heated press at 70 °C, minimum press time is reduced to 3–5 minutes.
• Apply pressure between 0.21 and 0.69 N/mm² (30–100 psi).
Bonding Time
• Indicative bond strength values for wood-to-wood bonding at approx. 14% moisture content and 20 °C:
• After 15 minutes press: 4.14 N/mm²
• After 60 minutes press: 6.21 N/mm²
Coverage
• Covers approximately 5.0–7.0 m² of bonded area per kg.
Cleaning
• Clean tools, equipment, and excess adhesive with a damp cloth before the adhesive dries.
• Once cured, adhesive can be removed using AT200 High Strength Cleaner.
