Pulicol 2000 is designed for the effective removal of old natural and synthetic resin-based adhesives, paint, and grout residue. Some common applications include:
Floor Adhesive Removal: Efficiently removes old adhesive from surfaces such as marble, ceramic tiles, wood, concrete, cementitious levelling coats, and metal.
Ceramic and Mosaic Adhesive Removal: Works well on ceramic tiles, mosaics, marble, concrete, wood, gypsum, metal, and fibrous concrete.
Paint Removal: Effectively eliminates paint from the surfaces of metal, wood, and concrete.
To use Pulicol 2000, apply it with a trowel or brush over the adhesive or varnish residue that needs to be removed. Allow it to sit for 2-3 minutes, adjusting the time based on the type of adhesive or varnish. After this period, use a smooth trowel or a high-pressure hydro-cleaning unit to remove Pulicol 2000 along with the adhesive or varnish. For smooth, low-absorbent surfaces like marble or ceramic, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. On rough or absorbent surfaces, such as cementitious screeds or scratch coats, remove the residue with sandpaper or a wire brush. Avoid washing wood surfaces; instead, only sand them. The removal time for Pulicol 2000 varies with the adhesive type and thickness: acrylic adhesives typically require a few minutes, while polyurethane and epoxy adhesives may need approximately 45-60 minutes, and a second application may be necessary in some cases.
