Ronseal Anti-Bacterial Worktop Protector is applied to clean, dry wooden worktops to provide a tough, wipe-clean surface that helps protect against bacteria growth while resisting water, heat, and everyday kitchen spills. It is typically brushed on in thin, even coats, with light sanding between coats, and allowed to fully cure before use to achieve maximum durability and hygiene. However, its use is limited to interior wooden surfaces only and it is not suitable for laminate, metal, stone, or previously waxed or oiled worktops without proper preparation. While it offers good resistance to moisture and stains, it is not completely heat-proof, so hot pans should not be placed directly on the surface, and harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive pads may reduce its lifespan over time.
