Sika® Evercryl® Emergency Roof Repair is a resin-based, fibre-reinforced roof repair compound that provides instant waterproofing on all common roofing surfaces, even in wet, frosty (down to –5 °C), or ponded conditions. Cartridge-applied, it dries to a flexible, algae- and fungus-resistant membrane, bridging small cracks and holes up to 5 mm with a single application, and requires no primer on sound non-porous surfaces. It is suitable for general sealing, maintenance, repair, and waterproofing of roofs made from concrete, fibre/cement, roofing felt, mastic asphalt, bituminous coatings, uPVC, metals, slates, tiles, brickwork, lead, copper, and zinc, as well as for waterproofing gutters, downpipes, gullies, flashings, upstands, vents, and leadwork. The product is formulated from lightfast acrylic polymers for UV resistance, provides 350 % elongation at break, and cures through solvent loss and physical drying.
Key Points:
– Instantly waterproof and effective in wet, frosty, or ponded conditions.
– Fibre-reinforced to bridge cracks and holes up to 5 mm with a single application.
– Primerless adhesion to most bituminous and non-porous surfaces.
– UV-resistant, flexible membrane with 350 % elongation, curing via solvent loss and physical drying.
Shelf Life – 24 months from date of manufacture in tightly sealed undamaged containers, when stored between +5 and +25 °C.
Storage Conditions – Store in cool dry conditions away from all sources of ignition. Do not exceed 60°C. Will withstand frost.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
Ensure the roof is structurally sound and stable before applying any coating. Replace or re-fix all cracked, broken, slipped, or missing slates, tiles, sheets, or other coverings, and fill cracks in felt or asphalt. Avoid coating roof lights, windows, glass, or translucent sheets due to hidden hazards. All surfaces must be sound, stable, and free from dirt, dust, grease, and loose debris. Remove all traces of algae and fungi with a stiff-bristled brush and treat affected areas with Sika® Mouldbuster to prevent regrowth. Repair holes and imperfections using Black Jack® 903 Bitumen Trowel Mastic and adhere loose felt or tiles with Black Jack® 904 Roof Felt Adhesive. Blisters in roofing felt should be cut, dried, re-bonded, and sealed. Degrease new metal surfaces and remove rust or treat with a rust-inhibitive primer, such as zinc phosphate-based. Prime all non-bituminous, porous, or friable surfaces with Black Jack® 902 Bitumen and Flashing Primer and allow it to dry fully before applying the product.
APPLICATION
Wear gloves and suitable eye/face protection. As the product is flammable, eliminate all sources of ignition. Cut the cartridge tip carefully, attach the special nozzle, and apply. In extreme cases, a second application may be carried out 2–3 days after the initial application.
CLEANING OF TOOLS
Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with white spirit.
