Soudal Artificial Grass Adhesive is a high quality adhesive based SMX Hybrid technology for gluing artificial grass. Suitable for all applications, outdoors and indoors.
Properties

– Excellent adhesion on nearly all surfaces, even if slightly moist.

Substrates
Substrates: all usual building substrates, glass, treated wood, PVC, plastics, metals, stone, concrete, … Not suitable for PE, PP, PTFE and bitumen
Nature: rigid, clean, dry, free of dust and grease.
Surface preparation: Porous surfaces should be primed with Primer 150. All smooth surfaces can be treated with Soudal Surface Activator.
NOTICE: bonding plastics like PMMA (e.g. Plexi® glass), polycarbonate (e.g. Makrolon® or Lexan®) in stress loaded applications can give rise to stress cracking and crazing in these substrates. The use of Artificial Grass Adhesive is not recommended in these applications.

Soudal Artificial Grass Adhesive is suitable for bonding artificial grass onto most substrates (except PE, PP, PTFE). Not suitable for professional sports fields.
APPLICATION
Application method: Apply the adhesive on the substrate using a notched trowel or dots.
Cleaning: Clean with Soudal Surface Cleaner or with Soudal Swipex, immediately after use Cured Artificial Grass Adhesive can only be removed mechanically.
Repair: With the same material.
LIMITATIONS
– Given the great diversity of possible surfaces, it is recommended to perform an adhesion test on both substrates prior to application.
– Apply sufficient adhesive: Distance between the adhesive beads of about 2-3 cm and a min. width of 20 cm to be glued on the edge of the artificial turf. At the
seams, we recommend gluing a minimum width of 15cm and with a minimum of 7,5 cm under each side. After gluing press down sufficiently long.
– Do not use in applications where continuous water immersion is possible.
– As required by most of the artificial turf manufacturers, we also recommend to additional mechanical fixate the edges of the turf field, especially in places with high load or circulation of people, to provide an additional security.
– Artificial Grass Adhesive is not suitable for use on natural stone, can cause discoloration.
