Soudal Cork Adhesive is a solvent free adhesive paste for various cork based materials (tiles, Rolls, sheets) for bonding applications onto porous surfaces (concrete, cementitious surfaces, stone, plaster, wood, chipboard etc).

Substrates
Substrates: stone, concrete, stucco, wood
Nature: flat, clean, dry, free of dust and grease.
Surface preparation: On very absorbent surfaces the surface should be treated with a primer.

Soudal Cork Adhesive is suitable for bonding cork based materials (tiles, rolls, sheets). Since this is a water based product, apply on porous surfaces (e.g., concrete, cementitious surfaces, stone, plaster, wood, chipboard, etc.)
APPLICATION
Application method: Apply the adhesive by means of a notched trowel (3-5 mm) to the surface. Do not apply more adhesive to the surface as can be covered within’ 10 min. Roll or press cork very well. After approx. 10 min press or roll edges firmly.
Cleaning: 22A Cork Adhesive may be removed from tools and cork with water. Cured 22A Cork Adhesive can only be removed mechanically.
Repair: With the same material.
LIMITATIONS
– Remove the cork tiles from their packaging at least 24 hours before installation to allow the tiles to acclimatize.
– Minimum temperature of the substrate should be at least 15°C.
– Never install on a subfloor with too high moisture content.
– After minimum 48 hours, the cork can be further treated (varnished).
– First check with your cork supplier if the pre-paints tiles can be bonded with a water based adhesive. If this is not the case, please use Soudal Contact Adhesive 44A.
– Do not dilute the adhesive.
