Thompson’s Emergency Leak Fix is a clear, flexible sealant designed for quickly sealing leaks and weather damage around gutters, pipes, doors and windows. It can be applied directly to damp surfaces and over existing painted surfaces, making it a versatile solution for emergency repairs. The product is essentially a resin solution carried in a blend of solvents.

Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated place away from heat and sources of ignition and direct sunlight.
Carefully reseal partly used containers. Do not store near foodstuffs. Protect from frost. The shelf life of the product in airtight containers is at least two years.

PREPARATION
Use a stiff-bristle brush to remove any dust, dirt or algae. Lightly sand the area before application.
APPLICATION
Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle to a width that matches the gap you are going to seal. Fit the cartridge into a standard sealant gun.
Apply the sealant slowly and evenly at an angle to the repair, ensuring it covers both sides. When joining gutters, apply sealant to both surfaces and press them firmly together.
Smooth the sealant with a wetted spatula. The product may remain tacky for several hours after application, so avoid touching it during this time.
COVERAGE
Approximately 11 metres when applied as a 6mm bead of sealant.
DRYING TIME
Curing time will vary depending on the depth of the repair. Low temperatures and high humidity will extend curing times.
CLEAN UP
Clean all equipment with white spirit.
