SikaCeram® FlowFix Bonding Primer is a ready-to-use, polymer-modified cementitious bonding primer that requires only the addition of water. Designed specifically for bonding porcelain paving onto wet bedding mortar, it provides strong, flexible adhesion with high bond strength and fast curing. Easy and quick to mix, it is suitable for exterior applications and can be applied using a brush.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
SUBSTRATE QUALITY / PRE-TREATMENT

Ensure tiles are sound, clean and free from dust.

Remove any organic growth before applying SikaCeram® FlowFix Bonding Primer.
MIXING
-
Always add the powder to the water.
-
Mix one 20 kg bag with 4.4 litres of clean water.
-
Use a drill with a spiral-action mixer and mix for approximately 3 minutes.

Avoid introducing excess air bubbles during mixing.
-
Only mix as much product as can be used within 25 minutes.
APPLICATION
-
Apply using a brush or roller.

Apply freshly mixed SikaCeram® FlowFix Bonding Primer to the underside of the tile at a thickness of 1–2 mm.

Place the tile onto the prepared wet bedding mortar within 25 minutes of application at +20°C.

Do not allow the primer to dry before placing the tile.
-
Ensure the tile is level and the required joint spacing is maintained.
