Maximum Torque is an ultra-high grab adhesive engineered to deliver exceptional immediate bonding strength, typically providing up to twice the initial grab of conventional grab adhesives. Its advanced polymer formulation enables strong adhesion to a wide range of materials, often eliminating the need for temporary support during installation. Suitable for both interior and exterior applications, it can be applied in wet conditions, including rain and underwater environments, and cures to form a tough, permanently flexible elastic rubber. The adhesive offers outstanding durability, weatherproofing, and chemical resistance, with excellent primerless adhesion to most common construction materials.

LIMITATIONS
– Maximum Torque should be used in conjunction with mechanical fixings for all overhead applications and for large mirrors exceeding 1 m². Temporary support is generally not required; however, very heavy items may need support until the adhesive has fully cured. Due to its high-performance formulation, the product can be stiff to dispense and should be applied using a quality sealant gun such as EVERBUILD® Power Pro.
– Do not seal mirror edges or plastic sheeting until the adhesive has cured. The product is not suitable for surfaces that bleed oils or plasticisers, polythene safety-backed mirrors, polypropylene, or PTFE (Teflon). When bonding glass blocks, always consult the block manufacturer, as this is considered a structural application and their installation requirements must be followed.
– Paint compatibility can vary, so overpaintability should always be tested before use. When applying to natural stone, conduct a compatibility and stain-resistance test before full-scale application. Yellowing may occur in dark conditions. Users are responsible for determining product suitability, and adhesion trials are recommended before large-scale use. If in doubt, contact Technical Services for advice.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
– All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and contaminants before application.
APPLICATION METHOD / TOOLS
– Maximum Torque is supplied with a pre-cut V-notched nozzle designed to deliver the correct adhesive bead size. Cut the cartridge tip carefully, attach the nozzle, and apply using a quality sealant gun held at 90° to the substrate. Apply adhesive to one surface only in continuous lines spaced approximately 30–40 mm apart.
– Immediately position the item and press firmly into place using even pressure and a slight twisting motion to ensure good contact. The adhesive will typically skin over within 15–30 minutes and cures at approximately 2 mm per 24 hours, although cure times may be slower on non-porous surfaces.
