Application:
The Cromar 5U Eaves Protector 330mm 16m is a polyester-reinforced bituminous eaves protection strip used in pitched roofing systems. It is installed along the eaves before the roof underlay is laid, typically dressed into the gutter and secured with clout nails or bonded on one side. Its purpose is to support the roofing underlay at the eaves so it does not sag into the gutter, while directing water safely into the guttering system. This helps prevent water ponding behind the fascia and protects the roof underlay from deterioration or rot, reducing long-term maintenance at the eaves of domestic and commercial buildings.
Limitations:
