This premium quality, non-corrosive, 5-times stronger concentrate additive is designed to increase frost resistance and accelerate the setting time of cements by improving hydration rates. It is specially developed for bricklaying and rendering in low and sub-zero temperatures, enhancing workability, strength gain, and resistance to water penetration. The additive will not degrade steel wall ties, reinforcements, or other steel items, making it safe for use with metal structures. It is CE approved and should be added directly to the gauging water at a rate of 500ml (half a bottle) per 25kg of cement, allowing for up to a 15% reduction in gauging water, while also reducing curing times and shrinkage.

Bond It POWER-FROST enables year-round construction by accelerating hydration and curing in low temperatures. It reduces the amount of gauging water required, improving frost resistance, and results in a denser, more water- and oil-resistant mortar or concrete. It can be mixed with Portland cement to plug pressure leaks and enhances workability, strength gain, and water resistance. POWER-FROST allows up to 15% reduction in gauging water, reduces curing times, and minimizes shrinkage. Ensure proper sand/cement ratios for high-quality, dense mixes and take appropriate weather precautions after application.
Application
Shake well before use. Add POWER-FROST to gauging water at a rate of 500ml (half a bottle) per 25kg of cement. After laying the mortar or concrete, take usual precautions to protect against climatic conditions. For plugging pressure leaks, mix POWER-FROST neat with ordinary Portland cement to a putty-like consistency and press into the hole immediately; it will begin to cure within 2 to 5 minutes under normal conditions.
Limitations
For use below +4°C, hot water is recommended. Do not use if the temperature is +2°C and falling.
