This non-adhesive PTFE plumber’s tape is designed for sealing threaded plumbing pipework and is compatible with plastic, brass, and other metal fittings, including radiator tails and male tapered pipe threads. It has a tape density of 0.4g/cm³ and conforms to BS6920, EN751-3, and BS7786 1995 Grade L standards. To use, ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and dust-free. Unwind a small amount from the spool, apply it to the joint, and pull firmly after the first revolution to secure it. Avoid covering thread edges to prevent debris from entering the water system. The tape breaks off neatly when pulled. Not suitable for gas pipes.

Designed for sealing threaded plumbing pipework, this tape is suitable for use with plastic, brass, and other metal fittings or pipes, making it ideal for radiator tails and male tapered pipe threads.
Application
- Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust.
- Remove the outer packaging from the tape roll.
- Unwind a small amount of tape and apply it to the joint, using the spool to unwind while pulling firmly after the first revolution to secure it. Avoid covering thread edges to prevent debris from entering the water system.
- Pull the tape to break it off neatly. If it does not lie flat, press and smooth it down before connecting the pipework.
Limitations
Not suitable for use on gas pipes.
