EVERBUILD 203 Accelerator & Frostproofer is a liquid additive that accelerates the setting and hardening of mortar, concrete, screeds, and rendering while providing frost protection during the curing process. It remains effective even in sub-zero temperatures and is ideal for situations requiring rapid setting. This product is also used as a plugging admixture, ensuring faster finishing times in cold weather, while protecting against frost damage down to -8°C in wet mortar.

EVERBUILD 203 Accelerator & Frostproofer is suitable for use in mortars, floor screeds, external and internal cement-based rendering, and non-structural concrete. It can also be used as an emergency repair plugging aid when mixed neat with cement.
APPLICATION
SUBSTRATE QUALITY / PRE-TREATMENT
Ensure all materials are free from ice, and the temperature of the mix must not be less than +4°C before placing.
APPLICATION METHOD / TOOLS
As an Accelerator: Add to gauging water at a rate of 2.5 to 5L per 50kg of cement, depending on the degree of acceleration needed. Remember to reduce the total water required accordingly.
As a Frostproofer: Add to gauging water at a rate of 2.5L per 50kg of cement for protection down to -4°C, or 5L per 50kg of cement for protection down to -8°C. Again, reduce the required water quantity accordingly.
As a Plugging Aid: Mix neat with fresh cement and place immediately.
Concrete must be covered after placement until it reaches minimum strength or the temperature rises above freezing. Do not use with high alumina cement.
LIMITATIONS
- Do not overdose.
- Avoid using weak mixes in cold weather.
- Do not mix with other additives in the same gauging water.
- Dispose of the product and packaging correctly, and do not allow it to enter watercourses.
- It is the user’s responsibility to determine suitability; for further advice, contact the Technical Services Department.
