Everbuild Everflex 700T Silicone is a low modulus, neutral, oxime cure RTV silicone sealant. It adheres to a wide range of both porous and non-porous surfaces without the need for priming. Everbuild Everflex 700T Silicone is formulated to a high viscosity to give excellent tooling properties.

APPLICATION
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
The surfaces must be free from dust, grease and other contaminants. As the quality of plastics can vary, always carry out adhesion tests before large scale use. Also, improve adhesion by wiping the surface with PVCu Solvent Cleaner or white spirits (painted surfaces). Priming is generally not required, although we always advise testing small areas before use. For deep joints, reduce depth by using Fix and Fill Expanding Foam or a suitable joint backer rod. Also, triangular fillets should be no less than 12mm across the face and should have a finish with a flat or convex face.
APPLICATION METHOD / TOOLS
Cut the top of the cartridge with a sharp blade, making sure not to damage the thread. Apply nozzle and cut at an angle of 45° with an opening slightly larger than the gap to be sealed. Apply using a standard sealant gun. After that, to ensure a proper bond, always smooth the sealant down with a spatula or piece of wood. Also, an improved joint appearance can be achieved by placing masking tape to both sides of the joint & after that, remove within 5 minutes of application.
LIMITATIONS
– Do not use in the manufacture of Aquariums. Use Aqua Mate Sealant
– Do not use on substrates that bleed oil, solvents or plasticizers.
– Non-over paintable. Use Weather Mate
