UltraCare Acid Cleaner is a versatile cleaning solution designed for both internal and external surfaces, including façades, that have been grouted with cementitious materials. Its acid-based formula, combined with surfactants, provides effective cleaning capabilities. This cleaner is suitable for acid-resistant materials such as porcelain, ceramic, glass mosaics, quarry tiles, terracotta, and acid-resistant natural stone. It efficiently removes installation residues, cementitious grout, and adhesive residues, leaving surfaces perfectly clean. UltraCare Acid Cleaner can be diluted based on specific cleaning needs and effectively removes various substances, including cementitious residues, organic dirt, limescale, rust stains, salt efflorescence from terracotta, engobbio from porcelain and ceramic materials, and dirt accumulated on surfaces like ceramics, sinks, tanks, anodized aluminium, stainless steel, and chrome plating. Additionally, it features built-in detergent properties, eliminating the need for a separate cleaning product. While it does not harm ceramic, glass, or metal surfaces, it is advisable to conduct preliminary tests with different concentrations due to the variety of materials available.

UltraCare Acid Cleaner is a concentrated liquid acid cleaner in an aqueous solution that can be used undiluted or mixed with water, depending on the required concentration for the specific cleaning task and surface type. Prior to use, ensure that the surfaces are acid-resistant, and conduct preliminary tests if there’s any uncertainty. It is essential to protect any surfaces that could be damaged by splashes before applying the cleaner. For highly absorbent materials like Tuscan terracotta, porous ceramics, and natural stone, it is recommended to pre-moisten the surface with water before treatment. To effectively remove cementitious grout and adhesive residues from acid-resistant surfaces, dilute UltraCare Acid Cleaner between 1:10 and 1:5, depending on the amount of residue and surface type. Apply the diluted solution to the surface and let it sit for five minutes, then clean with a single-disc cleaning machine or an emulsifying pad. Afterward, rinse the area thoroughly with plenty of clean water. For heavy residues, the process may need to be repeated. Only use UltraCare Acid Cleaner on fully cured grout, which can take between 1 to 10 days depending on the type of cement used.
