Application & Limitations – Ronseal Decking Cleaner 5L
Ronseal Decking Cleaner 5L is designed to effectively remove dirt, grease, algae, and mildew from wooden decking, restoring the surface prior to staining or sealing. It is typically applied to a wet deck using a brush or watering can, worked into the surface, and then rinsed thoroughly after a short dwell time. The product is suitable for most softwood and hardwood decking and helps improve the adhesion and finish of subsequent treatments. However, it has limitations: it is not intended for painted or varnished surfaces, may not fully remove deep-set stains or heavy weathering, and requires dry conditions for best results.
