Ronseal Fence Life Plus is a tough and versatile treatment designed to protect fences and sheds from all types of weather, including rain, frost, snow, and UV damage. Suitable for both rough sawn and smooth planed wood, it provides long-lasting colour that resists greying in the sun for up to five years. Easy to apply by brush or sprayer, it can even be used on damp wood, making it ideal for unpredictable weather conditions, and becomes showerproof in just one hour.

Suitable for all new or coated rough sawn and smooth planed wood.
Before You Start
– Fence Life Plus can be applied to damp wood, but not if it is dripping wet; allow at least 5 hours after rainfall before application.
– Do not apply in the rain—choose a warm, dry day with temperatures above 10 °C to ensure proper drying.
– Ensure wood is clean and free from dirt using a stiff brush.
– Apply 2 coats to rough sawn wood, 3 coats to smooth planed wood, and additional coats if the wood is heavily weathered.
– Safe for use around pets and plants.
– Not suitable for decking or garden furniture.
Application
– Can be applied using either a brush or sprayer.
Brushing
– Test the colour on a small hidden area and allow it to dry before full application.
– Apply generously with a brush, spreading evenly and brushing out any drips.
– Allow 4 hours drying time between coats and apply additional coats as needed.
Spraying
– Pour the product into the sprayer tank and begin application using long, steady horizontal movements.
– Work across the full width of the panel, then move downward and repeat.
– Overlap each pass by 50% to ensure even coverage.
Maintenance
– Reapply additional coats to any areas showing signs of wear or damage.
Cleaning
– Clean spills on plants, paving, or other surfaces immediately with soapy water before drying.
– Remove excess product from brushes and clean with warm soapy water.
– Clean sprayers thoroughly after use by flushing with water and ensuring all components are clear; follow manufacturer’s instructions.
– Store sprayer containers upright to prevent leaks.
– Do not dispose of product in drains or watercourses—follow local council disposal guidelines
