Suitable for all interior walls and ceilings
Before you start
– Before covering damp areas, ensure the underlying cause of the damp has been identified and fixed, as sealing it will not resolve the root problem.
Preparation
– Open doors and windows for ventilation and lay down dust sheets to protect surrounding areas.
– Remove any wallpaper using a scraper, or sand away any loose or flaking paint if the surface is already painted.
– Treat any mould with a suitable mould killer, or wipe the area clean using a cloth and white spirit.
– The seal can be applied directly to a damp surface as long as it is not dripping wet.
Application
1. Stir the product thoroughly before use.
2. Apply with a brush or roller to the affected area, extending at least 30cm beyond small damp patches to prevent spread.
3. The surface will be touch dry within 2 hours and ready for painting or wallpapering after 4 hours.
Aftercare
– This product is not intended as a final decorative finish, so it must be covered with paint or wallpaper once dry.
Cleaning
– Clean brushes and rollers using white spirit after use
