Before You Start
– Proper preparation is essential to ensure the paint adheres well and avoids the need for rework.
– For best results, apply in a room temperature above 10 °C; although low odour, ventilation is still recommended.
– Use dust sheets to protect surrounding areas and wear a mask when sanding to avoid inhaling dust.

Preparing the Surface
– Lightly sand wood using 120 grit sandpaper to create an even surface, focusing on any rough areas.
– Allow dust to settle, then wipe clean with a cloth and white spirit.
– Treat knots with knot blocker to prevent dark staining, and fill any cracks or holes as needed.
– Once dry, apply a one-coat wood primer to improve adhesion; this can be painted over after 2 hours.

Application
– No stirring required—simply apply directly using a synthetic brush.
– Paint generously in the direction of the wood grain for an even finish.
– Allow 1–2 hours for the paint to become touch dry.

Aftercare
Cleaning
– Once dry, the surface can be cleaned normally without damaging the finish.
– Regular light dusting helps maintain appearance and finish quality.

Repair
– Lightly sand damaged areas and reapply a single coat to restore the finish easily.
