SikaSeal® Mould Resistant Caulk+ is a high-quality, permanently flexible caulk and sealant designed for a wide range of interior and exterior applications. Its mould-resistant formulation provides a clean, durable finish without the need for sanding and adheres strongly to most common construction materials, including timber, plaster, brick, stone, PVCu, and concrete. The product is ideal for sealing joints, cracks, and gaps around frames, walls, skirting boards, baths, and basins, as well as for low-movement construction joints. Once cured, it can be overpainted with most paint types or wallpapered, ensuring a seamless decorative result.

SikaSeal® Mould Resistant Caulk + is a high-quality, permanently flexible caulk and sealant suitable for a wide range of applications. Its mould-resistant formulation delivers a clean, durable finish without the need for sanding. Ideal for sealing joints and gaps, it adheres to most common construction materials including timber, plaster, brick, stone, PVCu, and concrete. Once cured, it can be overpainted with most paint types or wallpapered for a seamless result.
LIMITATIONS
Do not use in areas of continuous immersion, below ground level, or in high-abrasion locations such as floor joints. Protect the sealant from water for at least 24 hours after application, noting that damp or humid conditions will extend curing time. Do not expose to water until fully cured; if faster curing is required, use SikaSeal® Construction Silicone (6-hour cure). The product is not suitable for use with bitumen or asphalt and must not be abraded once cured. It should not be used around shower trays where greater movement is expected—SikaSeal® Construction Silicone is recommended instead. Do not overpaint until a surface skin has formed; while overpainting is optional, it is advised for external applications. As the product remains flexible, low-quality paints with limited film movement may crack if excessive movement occurs.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from dust. Remove all loose or flaking coatings, as well as old sealants and mastics, prior to application. Highly porous surfaces such as new plaster should be primed with diluted Sika PVA (1:4 with water). The product may be applied to slightly damp, but not wet, surfaces.
APPLICATION METHOD / TOOLS
Cut the cartridge tip carefully without damaging the thread, then attach the nozzle and cut it at a 45° angle with an opening slightly larger than the joint width. Apply using a standard sealant gun, maintaining even pressure and a consistent angle for best results. Smooth within 20 minutes using a wetted spatula, piece of wood, or gloved finger, avoiding surface saturation to prevent delayed drying. Excess material can be removed with a sponge and warm water. The sealant may be overpainted after approximately one hour; overpainting is recommended for external applications.
