Excellent adhesion and flexibility: Primerless adhesion to most common building substrates, with ±25% movement capability.
-
Durable protection: Waterproof, weather-resistant, UV-resistant and chemically resistant.
-
Easy application: Fast-curing, low-odour formula with low dirt pick-up and excellent tooling properties.
-
Versatile performance: Suitable for internal and external use, with a service temperature range of -50°C to +150°C. Compatible with glass, lead, polycarbonate and acrylic sheets.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
-
Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, grease and other contaminants.
-
For improved adhesion, wipe surfaces with a suitable proprietary cleaner.
-
Priming is generally not required, but testing a small area before use is recommended.
APPLICATION METHOD / TOOLS
-
Carry out all glazing work in accordance with the relevant current British Standards.
-
Apply to clean, dry surfaces at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C.
-
Ensure the joint depth does not exceed 50% of the joint width.
-
For cartridges, cut the tip carefully without damaging the thread, then fit the nozzle.
-
For foil packs, cut one end, insert the foil into the foil gun with the opening towards the nozzle, then fit the nozzle and screw on the retaining bracket.
-
Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle, with an opening slightly larger than the joint to be sealed.
-
Apply the sealant using even pressure on the trigger, keeping the gun at a consistent angle.
-
Smooth the sealant using a spatula or piece of wood to ensure a proper bond.
-
For a neat finish, apply masking tape to both sides of the joint and remove it within 15 minutes of application.
CLEANING OF TOOLS
-
Remove uncured sealant using white spirit or Sika® Wonder Wipes.
-
Remove cured sealant mechanically or using Everflex® Silicone Eater.
