It provides a smooth, flexible finish that can be overpainted once dry, making it especially suitable for decorative finishing and minor joint filling where slight movement may occur. However, its use is limited to low-movement joints and interior environments, as it is not fully waterproof or suitable for areas exposed to continuous moisture, such as bathrooms or external applications. It also has limited flexibility compared to silicone sealants, meaning it may crack under significant movement or structural stress, and it is not recommended for use on non-porous surfaces like glass or metals where adhesion may be poor.
