AlphaChem Mortar Plasticiser is designed to enhance the workability and freeze thaw resistance of brick and block laying mortars, reducing the likelihood of cracking and crazing. It may be used to replace or supplement the use of lime.

APPLICATION
Stir before use. Either premix the Mortar Plasticiser with water, or add directly into the mix at the same time as the water. N.B. The superior plasticising qualities will result in a significant reduction in water demand of any given mix. If preparing by hand, a vigorous mixing action should be used to ensure efficient production of ‘micro’ air entrainment properties. Test mixes should be made to determine the optimum dosage. Add Mortar Plasticiser at the rate of 140 – 280 cc per 50kg cement. Test mixes should be made to determine the optimum dosage for the prevailing conditions.
LIMITATIONS
– As the manufacturer cannot know all the uses its products may be put to, it is the user’s responsibility to determine suitability of use.
