Soudal Parquet & Timber Sealant is a high quality water based acrylic polymer. Flexible joint sealant for the sealing joints in parquet or laminate floors. Colour range matched to various wood types. Excellent adhesion onto porous substrates, virtually odourless and free of solvents. Can be painted and varnished after curing.

Substrates
Substrates: All common timber and laminate floors as well as porous building surfaces. Not suitable for natural stone
Nature: clean, free of dust and grease.
Surface preparation: No pretreatment required.

Soudal Parquet & Timber Sealant is suitable for filling sealant for joints in parquet and laminate floors. Connection joints between parquet floors, skirting boards and walls. Can also be used for cracks in wooden floors.
APPLICATION
Application method: Apply the sealant by means of a manual or pneumatic caulking gun into the joint. Next finish with for example a filling-knife. Repeat in case of shrinking. Sandable after minimum 24 hours. Do not apply when rain or frost is imminent during curing process.
Cleaning: Before curing, Parquet and Timber sealant can be removed with water from substrates and tools.
Finishing: Finish with a spatula or putty knife.
Repair: With the same material.
LIMITATIONS
– Do not use in applications where continuous water immersion is possible.
– Can be varnished with most varnishes.
– The lacquer or. varnish must be sufficiently elastic to allow application on a plasto elastic sealant.
– Given the great diversity in available parquet lacquers and parquet varnishes it is recommended to do a compatibility test prior to application.
