Thompson’s High Performance 10 Year Roof Seal is a premium, heavy-duty roof coating formulated to provide long-lasting, all-weather protection for a wide range of roofing surfaces. Designed to deliver up to 10 years of durable waterproof performance, this high-build, bitumen-based seal creates a tough, flexible membrane that resists cracking, peeling, and blistering, even under extreme temperature changes. Thompson’s HP 10 Year Roof Seal is a ready-to-use, brush- or roller-applied waterproof coating designed to seal and protect sound roofs by forming a flexible, weather-resistant membrane that helps prevent water ingress and prolong roof life. It is suitable for common roof surfaces such as concrete, cement, felt, asphalt, metal, and existing bituminous coatings, provided the substrate is clean, dry, and structurally sound; loose material, moss, grease, or flaking coatings must be removed before application, and multiple coats may be required to achieve full protection. Application should be carried out in dry conditions with no rain forecast and at temperatures above the manufacturer’s minimum recommendation to ensure proper curing. Limitations include unsuitability for roofs with standing water, active leaks caused by structural defects, or areas requiring load-bearing or trafficable finishes, and it should not be applied to damp surfaces or over materials that are incompatible with bitumen-based products.
