Ronseal Anti Condensation Paint White is designed to reduce the build-up of condensation on interior walls and ceilings, helping to prevent damp and mould in moisture-prone areas of the home. It works by adding a layer of insulation to the surface, keeping it warmer so moisture in the air is less likely to settle. This makes it particularly suitable for use in rooms such as bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and utility spaces where condensation is common. The paint provides a durable, wipeable white finish and can be applied directly to suitably prepared surfaces as part of both preventative maintenance and ongoing moisture control.
Ronseal Anti-Condensation Paint White is applied like a standard interior emulsion and is suitable for use on interior walls and ceilings in areas prone to moisture such as bathrooms, kitchens, and bedrooms; it works by incorporating insulating microspheres that help reduce surface temperature differences and therefore limit condensation forming. The surface should be clean, dry, and free from mould (which should be treated separately) before application, and the paint is best applied in two coats using a brush or roller. However, its effectiveness is limited to reducing condensation rather than eliminating the underlying causes, meaning it should be used alongside good ventilation and heating for best results. It is not designed for exterior use, for permanently damp or water-ingress areas, or as a solution for penetrating or rising damp, and performance may be reduced if applied over glossy, poorly prepared, or non-breathable surfaces. The product is manufactured by Ronseal.
