Seal It Cracks & Edging Sealer – Seal It Liquid Membrane’s companion product is a high-quality, flexible, one-part material based on hybrid technology, designed for use as a gap-filler on cracks and apertures in roofing substrates. This non-shrinking product can be applied to wet surfaces, making it ideal for preparing substrates before the application of Seal It Liquid Membrane, ensuring a solid base. It offers excellent adhesion to most common roofing materials and can also be used after the membrane application to secure edgings, seals, and provide extra protection around roof elements like chimneys and vents.

Shelf Life: 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored in the original, unopened cartridges.
Storage Conditions: Store in a cool, dry place, between +5°C and +25°C, in the original, unopened cartridge. Protect from frost and direct sunlight.

Seal It Cracks & Edging can be used before applying SEAL IT ROOF SEAL LIQUID MEMBRANE to repair cracks, edges, details, and other openings in the substrate, ensuring a solid base. It offers excellent adhesion to most common roofing materials. Alternatively, it can be applied after the ROOF SEAL application to secure edgings and seals, creating a self-terminating flashing or providing additional protection around roof elements like chimneys and air vents.
Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are clean and free from grease, oil, or any contaminants that may affect adhesion.
Application: Cut the top of the cartridge carefully, avoiding damage to the threaded area. Attach the nozzle and cut at a 45° angle. Use a standard sealant gun to apply a continuous bead along the area. Smooth the bead with a soapy solution, and once cured, rinse with clean water before applying ROOF SEAL. Remove excess material and clean tools immediately with white spirit. Replace the plastic cap after use. ROOF SEAL can be applied about 8 hours after the filler has skinned sufficiently to avoid damage during coating application.
Limitations: Do not apply the sealer and ROOF SEAL more than 5 days apart, as adhesion will be compromised. Bitumen surfaces and roof felts must be primed with ROOF SEAL BLEEDBLOCKER to prevent product failure. Not suitable for use with expansion joints or in areas where joints are continuously submerged in water. Also, not recommended for LSE plastics like PE, PP, and PTFE.
