This economy version of Aluminium Paint is a bright, traditional, solar-reflective coating designed for application on bituminous roofing substrates. It provides excellent protection against sun and weathering, making it ideal for use on bituminous surfaces, exposed steel, and corrugated iron roofs, ensuring long-lasting durability.

Storage & Shelf Life: Keep out of reach of children. Store containers tightly sealed, under cover, and away from heat or ignition sources. Ensure that water does not come into contact with the Aluminium Paint. The shelf life is 12 months when stored properly in its original, unopened container.
Coverage: Coverage is approximately 5 to 10m² per litre per coat, depending on the surface.

Aluminium Paint provides protection against sun and weathering, especially on bituminous, exposed steel, and corrugated iron roof surfaces.
Application
- Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust and debris.
- Allow freshly applied bitumen coatings to weather for 3–5 days before applying Aluminium Paint (Contractors Grade).
- For Roofing Felt, it is recommended to prime the surface before applying the first coat of Aluminium Paint (Contractors Grade).
- STIR THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE: A silver film on the surface after brief stirring does not indicate uniformity. Stir for several minutes to ensure complete dispersion, preferably using a mechanical stirrer.
- Apply two coats, ensuring the first coat is dry before applying the second. To avoid bronzing, avoid applying the Aluminium Paint (Contractors Grade) too thickly. Do not over-brush as this may soften the substrate.
- Moisture on the surface or rain before the paint has dried can cause bronzing.
- Do not apply in temperatures below +5°C.
