EVERBUILD Dual Purpose Foam Cleaner is an aerosol cleaner designed to remove uncured PU foam from gun applicators and other surfaces. It attaches to gun foam applicators for purging and includes a spray nozzle for cleaning wet foam from the gun and various building substrates. The product is versatile, allowing for both gun and DIY-grade nozzle cleaning, and helps preserve the lifespan of expensive foam guns by enabling reuse.

Everbuild Dual Purpose Foam Cleaner is ideal for cleaning PU foams from guns and nozzles, as well as removing spilled PU foam from surrounding areas.
APPLICATION
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
Before cleaning spilt or excess foam, protect surrounding areas with impervious masking tape to prevent damage from the solvents in this product.
APPLICATION METHOD / TOOLS
To clean foam in all common situations, follow these steps:
If foam is allowed to cure in a gun, it will be impossible to remove with solvents. Gun foam can remain attached for up to 7 days after use, but beyond that, the foam may cure or cause propellant leakage. To prevent this, spray EVERBUILD® Dual Purpose Foam Cleaner over the nozzle before storing to remove residues and prevent valve seizing.
When you’re done using foam and won’t need the gun again within 7 days, remove the foam can carefully (wear gloves and goggles). Attach the EVERBUILD® Dual Purpose Foam Cleaner can to the gun adapter, ensuring it is not cross-threaded or overtightened. Pull the trigger to release the solvent into the gun barrel and discharge it into a suitable container until the solution runs clear. Leave the cleaner attached for 5 minutes, then discharge until clear. Repeat this process 2 or 3 times for complete cleaning.
To maintain your gun, clean the threaded adapter ring with EVERBUILD® Dual Purpose Foam Cleaner when replacing an empty foam can.
Important Tips
- Never dismantle the gun.
- Never clean a gun with water, as it will cure the foam instantly and ruin the gun.
- For DIY nozzles, attach the red nozzle to the foam cleaner and squirt foam down the plastic nozzle until clean.
- Clean up any spilt foam immediately, ensuring compatibility with surfaces before use.
LIMITATIONS
- Only cleans uncured foam.
- Cured foam must be removed mechanically.
