Everbuild Fill & Skim is perfect for covering textured paint surfaces and restoring old, pitted, or uneven plastered walls and ceilings in one quick application. It is suitable for internal repairs on plaster, wood, brick, stone, and rendering, making it an ideal choice for electricians, plumbers, joiners, and general builders. It works as a one-coat patching plaster for small repair jobs, such as covering recessed cable trunking or filling holes around installed piping and sockets.

SUBSTRATE QUALITY / PRE-TREATMENT
Ensure the surface is clean, dry, stable, and free from loose materials or mold. Very friable surfaces should be treated with EVERBUILD STABILISING SOLUTION and allowed to dry. Nail or screw heads must be primed with an oil-based primer. Stain marks should be treated with EVERBUILD STAIN BLOCK. Glossy surfaces must be sanded to provide a key, and holes deeper than 25mm should be filled with a suitable filler (e.g., EVERBUILD ONE STRIKE) and allowed to dry. Textured surfaces must be lightly sanded to remove peaks.

APPLICATION
Stir EVERBUILD FILL & SKIM® to a smooth consistency. If the product is too dry, add a few drops of water and restir. Use a suitable spatula to load the smoothing blade, applying no more than 0.5m² at a time. Work from the center of the area, applying in smooth curves to ensure even pressure. Use a smoothing trowel to flatten any ridges and blend each section. When filling large areas, achieving a perfectly level finish may not always be possible, but EVERBUILD FILL & SKIM is easy to sand if needed. Deep holes up to 25mm can be filled in one application.
Coverage: Approx. 0.75m²/litre at 6mm depth.

FINISHING
Once dry (approximately 24 hours, depending on depth and drying conditions), EVERBUILD FILL & SKIM can be painted with water or oil-based paints, or papered over. If priming is required, follow the paint manufacturer’s instructions.

LIMITATIONS
Do not use in areas subject to continuous water immersion or for external applications. It is not suitable for structural repairs. Avoid water contact within 24 hours of application. The absorption of paint on the filler may differ from surrounding areas; if visible, simply apply further coats.
