Shelf Life & Storage: Sika Primer-115 has a shelf life of 9 months from the date of production. Store in its original, unopened, and undamaged packaging in dry conditions at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C. Always refer to the packaging for specific storage guidelines.

Sika Primer-115 is designed as a pre-treatment for porous substrates before Sikaflex® applications. It acts as a primer for various materials, ensuring optimal adhesion and durability.
Suitable Substrates:
- Concrete & Cementitious Surfaces – Enhances bonding strength.
- Brick Masonry – Improves adhesion on porous brick surfaces.
- Cut Asphalt – Suitable for surfaces with at least 50% exposed aggregates (per EN 13108-1 & EN 13108-6).
Application
Substrate Preparation
Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and structurally sound, free from oil, grease, dust, cement laitance, and loose or friable particles. Primers and activators enhance adhesion but do not replace proper surface preparation. They also improve the long-term performance of the sealed joint.
Application
- Apply a single coat to the prepared substrate using a clean brush or roller.
- Reseal the container tightly after each use.
- Use within one month of opening; discard any primer that has gelled or separated.
Cleaning of Tools
Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use. Once hardened, the material can only be removed mechanically.
