AT150 Primer is for use on hard and non-absorbent surfaces to improve the adhesion of illbruck hybrid sealants and adhesives.
Preparation
– Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, oil, or other contaminants.
– If required, clean surfaces using a suitable cleaning agent such as AT115 or AT200.
Application
1. Pour a small amount of primer into a separate container, keeping the original container tightly closed.
2. Apply a thin, even coat using a cloth, felt pad, or brush, ensuring the layer is uniform.
3. Use the primer within two hours of decanting.
4. Allow approximately 15 minutes drying time, depending on temperature, humidity, and substrate conditions.
5. Avoid applying in excessive humidity, as crystallization can reduce effectiveness.
6. Only apply sealant once the primer is touch dry.
