GS360 is a versatile sealant suitable for both interior and exterior applications. It is ideal for a variety of sealing tasks, including the perimeter sealing of door and window frames, draught-proofing and sealing of glass and metal assemblies, and general construction joints throughout a building. The product bonds effectively to many common construction materials, cures rapidly while remaining permanently flexible, and offers excellent resistance to external weathering.

GS360 is suitable for a wide range of sealing applications, including perimeter sealing of door and window frames, draught-proofing and sealing of glass and metal assemblies, and general construction joints throughout a building.
Priming
GS360 demonstrates excellent primerless adhesion to many common construction materials. For special situations, or if you are unsure, please contact the Tremco Illbruck Technical Services Department to discuss your specific requirements.
Joint Design Considerations
Joint design should follow the guidelines set out in BS 6093.
For joint width calculation under BS 6093, the MAF of GS360 is 20%.
The recommended width-to-depth ratio of GS360 is 2:1.
The minimum contact area with any substrate, including fillet joints, depends on bond quality. Contact Tremco Illbruck if in doubt.
Sealant width should never be less than the sealant depth.
Surface Preparation
Joint faces must be clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, grease, old sealant, or any contaminants that could affect adhesion. Any previously applied sealant should be removed mechanically.
Clean surfaces thoroughly using a suitable solvent and the two-cloth method: one cloth dampened with the cleaner to lift contaminants, and a second dry cloth to remove residue.
Apply masking tape to protect adjacent surfaces from contamination.

Joint Backing
Deep joints should be filled with an approved material such as FM330 or FM365 PU Foam.
For movement joints, use polyethylene joint backing to control sealant depth and prevent three-sided adhesion.
Application
Always perform a test application before full installation to confirm compatibility and suitability.
Apply GS360 in accordance with BS 8000:16 – “Code of practice for sealing joints in buildings using sealants.”
Suitable for application between +5°C and +40°C using a conventional skeleton gun or electric/power equipment.
Tool all beads after application to ensure firm, full contact with joint faces.
