Cromar AlphaChem 808 Sanitary Silicone 300ml

Cromar Sanitary Silicone 808 is ideal for:

– Sealing around basins, sinks, vanity units and worktops as well as shower trays, units and baths.
– Ideal for areas of high humidity
– Suitable for use on sanitary plastics, ceramics, glass, lacquered metals, anodised aluminium, painted timber & plastic, primed metals, primed or painted concrete.

APPLICATION

– Ensure all surfaces are clean, sound, dry and free from dust, grease or other contaminants. Old silicone should be removed using a silicone remover.
– Fill any gaps or voids with Alpha Chem Expanding Foam or suitable backing tape or rod.
– Cut thread and then the nozzle to the required size.
– Please note: if sealing bath surrounds half fill the bath with water, to apply the sealant at the joint mid-point. If sealing waste outlets in sinks and baths Silicone 808 should be applied so it will be in compression after the tightening of connecting pipes.
– Apply sealant with a sealant gun and tool down using a spatula wetted within 5 minutes of application. Ensure to bed any trims into the silicone within 5 minutes.
– It is the user’s responsibility to dispose of all packaging correctly.
