Usage Guidelines:

  • Joint design: Please refer to the Technical Information Sheet titled ‘Joint design for cartridge-based products’ before application.
  • Surface preparation: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and devoid of frost, grease, or loose materials. Use a primer if necessary. For a particularly neat finish, use masking tape to cover the joint’s face edges, removing it promptly after tooling.
  • Cartridge preparation: Cut the tip of the cartridge’s screw thread and attach the nozzle. Trim the nozzle to the appropriate diameter for the joint size.
  • Application: Use a skeleton or powered gun to apply the sealant into the joint, ensuring strong contact with the surfaces. For deeper joints, it is crucial to use Hodgson Backing Rod to facilitate proper joint formation.
  • Tooling: Immediately after applying the sealant, use appropriate tools within the product’s specified working time.
