Arbosil XL1099 is a non-staining, one part LM, neutral cure, sealant that cures on exposure to moisture vapour, to form an elastic rubber silicone.

Arbosil XL1099 is designed specifically for use against marble, granite, and other sensitive natural or manmade substrates where other sealants may stain. Also recommended for the sealing of perimeter floor joints, PVCu and aluminium window frames, along with many other common construction surfaces. It is not recommended for painting over, or for use in floor joints over 6mm.
NB: Not recommended for overpainting and use with laminated glass.
APPLICATION
Joint Preparation
All joint surfaces must firstly be clean, dry and free from any potential contaminations. Primers may be required on some surfaces.
Joint Backing
Where applicable, appropriate joint filler e.g. closed cell polyethylene foam, should be used to provide the correct joint depth. All joint preparation, priming, and sealant application should be carried out in accordance with BS 8000 Part 16, the British Standard for the sealing of joints in buildings using sealants. Application Arbosil XL1099 is supplied in polyethylene 380ml cartridges and can be applied into the joint using an Arbo Caulking Gun.
