Product Description:

 

Bond It ULTI-MATE is suitable for sealing around doors and windows and for general building maintenance. It can be used to fix mirrors, glazing systems, cap beading and glass, and expansion and joint sealing to precast concrete and brickwork. This product can be used indoors or outdoors.

It has excellent adhesion to cement, concrete; glass; ferrous metals, galvanised steel; ceramics; some plastics; timber and most common building materials.

It can be used to fix mirrors, glazing systems, cap beading and glass, and expansion and joint sealing to precast concrete and brickwork. This product can be used indoors or outdoors.

 

APPLICATION

Preparation
Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from grease or any contaminants that may hinder adhesion. For best results on movement joints, Bond It EXPANDING FOAM is recommended as a backing material or a suitable backing tape or rod.

Application
Apply using a standard sealant gun. Cut tip from the cartridge, be careful not to damage the screw thread. Cut the nozzle at an angle of 45° and fix it to the cartridge. Using a caulking gun, apply sealant to the joint. Tool within 5 minutes using a tooling rod, wet spatula or SEALANT APPLICATOR TOOL. For health and safety, do not tool with a finger. Tools can be cleaned in WHITE SPIRIT or Bond It MULTI-WIPES prior to curing taking place.

LIMITATIONS

In areas subject to fungal or mould growth Bond It MULTI-PURPOSE SILICONE should be applied.
