Geocel Marine Silicone Rubber Sealant 310ml

Suitable applications include: 

• Sealing around portholes and hatches.
• Insulating electrical connectors, locking nuts & bolts against vibrations
• Sealing trunking and pipework, in-situ gaskets for water pumps and exhaust systems, and creating watertight joints throughout.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Make sure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from grease. Areas adjacent to the joint should be masked with tape before application to prevent contamination of surfaces and ensure a neat line. Where there are large gaps, it is advised to pack the joint beforehand.

APPLICATION
Cut the tip at a 45° angle to your required width. Ensure the sealant makes full contact with both sides of the joint in question. Cut the cartridge nozzle at an angle according to the width of the joint. As the sealant extrudes, draw the cartridge towards you along the joint.

LIMITATIONS
Do not use on surfaces that can bleed oils, solvents or plasticisers. Product releases acetic acid during cure, which can corrode sensitive metals such as copper, brass and lead.
