Dowsil C50 is a high modulus silicone sealant, suitable for all sanitary applications & is available in White or Clear.

HOW TO USE

Preparation

Surfaces are to be clean and dry, with no dust or dirt present on the joint. Any old sealant must be removed to avoid contamination and affect the adhesion.

Priming

Priming the surface is not required so long as the area of application is nonporous. It is always recommended to do a small test before the complete application is started.

Finishing

If you require finishing or tooling off to the applied Dowsil C50, giving it a smooth and professional. This tooling must be done within 5 minutes. Any longer and the Dowsil C50 will have had time to skin and adhere to the substrate.

Clean-Up

The excess sealant may be cleaned off tools and non-porous surfaces while in an uncured state using a universal cleaner. If the sealant is misapplied to porous substrates, it should be left until just cured, and then removed by peeling or cutting from the area.

Joint Size

When applying the Dowsil C50, the minimum width should be 6mm.

6mm to 12mm width – 6mm depth.

12mm width – depth ratio of 2:1

Arbosil HM is a One-part High Modulus Acetoxy Cure Silicone Sealant, which cures rapidly on exposure to moisture vapour to form a resilient elastic silicone rubber. This was my first visit to sealant supplies, here’s my review; The website is so easy to navigate, which, for me is good as I do sometimes struggle with them. I found there was a really good range of products and the prices are really good. I had done a bit of searching around on the net as I need a lot of product so want to get the best price I could get. After a couple of minutes I’d found what I wanted and added to my basket, went through the payment process and that was it, done.Delivery was actually a lot faster than I expected and the product was very well wrapped. I bought some expanding foam and, if you’re reading this you probably know the differences in quality of this kind of product. I did think that at the price it wouldn’t be the best, but my mind was put at rest when I used it. The foam is a really good quality product and absolutely perfect for the job I’m doing, which is restoring an old motorhome.To summarise, great website, well laid out, easy to navigate, secure payment options, super quick delivery and really well packed. Don’t think I could ask for more and I’ll certainly be using Sealant supplies again, what a great find.

Tried to obtain Wide Gap Joint Fill unsuccessfully all over the country without success but Sealant Supplies came up trumps! Not only did they have it in stock but the price was lower than prices I had seen elsewhere (and the othes couldn't deliver anyway as they were 'out of stock'). James and the team were great. Our block paved back patio, side path & driveway were a mess. Over 15 years old, full of moss & weed and badly discoloured by black & white lichen. I was on a budget so forced to completely jet wash, bleach, re-colour, re-sand & seal from scratch (or replace with tarmac costing £'000). Decided to use Bond It "Drive Alive" products including the new black & brindle colour enhancer and patio seal. Found "Sealant Supplies" online so ordered over the internet, paid by PayPal. Spent a lot of time looking for the right colour of sealant with no real results until I stumbled across Sealant Supplies.
