SUBSTRATE QUALITY / PRE-TREATMENT
All surfaces must be free of dust and dry. Highly porous substrates such as new plaster should first be primed with a dilution of filler with water at a ratio of 1:2. Can be applied to slightly damp surfaces.
APPLICATION
Cut the tip of the cartridge with a sharp blade to ensure not to damage the thread. Apply nozzle and cut cleanly with a sharp blade at an angle, with an opening slightly larger than the gap to be sealed. Squeeze tube from the bottom to ensure you get all the contents out.
Care should be taken not to saturate the surface as this will delay drying. Any excess sealant can be removed using a sponge and warm water. Can be overpainted after 1 hour.
LIMITATIONS
– Not for use in conjunction with bitumen or asphalt.
– Do not attempt to abrade when cured.
– Do not paint over until a surface skin has formed.
Note: this product is flexible. Certain inferior quality paints (especially certain vinyl matts) have a minimal movement in the dry film. The dry paint film can crack if the movement is excessive.
