Bond It Rapid Set Tile Adhesive is a fast-setting adhesive for bonding ceramic tiles to both walls and floors. Due to its fast acting properties, tiles can be grouted and suitable for use in approximately 2-3 hours. For interior use only, in locations subject to occasional wetting, e.g. domestic showers, saunas and bathrooms.
RAPID-SET will bond to various surfaces including concrete, sand/cement screeds, building blocks and brickwork. When used with Bond It PRIMER AND FLEXIBLE ADMIXTURE, it can be used to bond to wooden surfaces, glazed surfaces or used with underfloor heating. Alternatively, use a Bond It flexible tile adhesive.

APPLICATION
Use a suitable sized notched trowel that will give 100% coverage on areas with surface irregularities. Press and twist the tiles into place ensuring there is a minimum thickness of 3mm. For deep studded/large format tiles/wet areas, it is necessary to butter the back of the tile with adhesive to improve adhesion. Expansion joints must be provided according to the relevant part of BS5385. ‘Dot and Dab’ application is not recommended. Clean off any surplus adhesive with a damp cloth before setting. It is important the tiles are left undisturbed for a minimum of 2 hours after fixing.
